Thank you so much for fixing the email composer. Awesome. 2 years and that thing finaly seems to delete without erasing carriage returns.
And thanks for making it possible to record whomever the host puts in the big window.
BUT why, why have you decided to take away people’s ability to decide for themselves what they want to watch? This isn’t JustinTV, this isn’t Operator11. The beauty of stickam has always been that is was a social media, that Chat was essential.
It wasn’t programming. Yes there are shows and yes there are chat rooms. But don’t force a format. Either revert to the previous set up, or hey make the over ride optional to ppl that want to steal the big screen.
Let people close out windows. Don’t make it a host choice. Let the host master a master desicion to kick someone’s cam. but people should be able to close cams as well.
Also it lags horribly. Horribly!

it’s… different. i like the streaming thing… but sounds kinda creepy if there is a youngin in the room and all of a sudden they are streamed… i think that’s why they don’t want to be live.. if they wanted to be on the big screen.. they should just go live themselves.
the lagging i believe will change in the future.. i don’t want to go on if i have to literally log out of the website just to be back on cam in a chatroom…. because i was switched out of a room and in within a minute and no one could see my cam on except me.. and none of the buttons would work. i just gave up and went on MSN.

Please bring back the original format for the camslots. The new setup sucks horribly. I can’t reset other peoples cameras so I can fix the problem with the lag and don’t want to have to leave the room to do so. Please fix this problem, it’s annoying as hell. And I say it’s a problem because not only can you not reset the lag, you can’t put people on the big screen and people like the feature. Please please please fix the problem.

The fact that the host can set anyone elses cam to the big screen is a nice feature, but other than that these settings fail…. Its nice to be able to decide for myself who i want to focus on, and close others cams for lag reasons and personal prefference… I use stickam A LOT for one on one chat and these setting kill that because you both cant see the other person as the large screen … If anything make it a setting feature the host can turn on or off.

That would be nice instead of needing to search through 24 pages of requests.

For real, stickam. most of the updates were good, but taking cam control away from the users? that makes me not even want to visit the site anymore. and i’ve been on it since june 06! without the option to turn people’s cams off, or enlarge what you want, you’re actually making it easier for raiders to do whatever the hell they want.
Last week, when i needed to close someone’s cam window in a room i was in, mainly because of his lude acts, i did. now, i can’t. which means i’ll probably be stuck with some guy masturbating on the side of my screen when i’m trying to have a conversation with friends. i know stickam doesn’t want this.

Please change it back. No one likes the new chat. By not allowing users to close individual people’s streams, you are taking away the our ability to ignore those who choose to abuse the chat by showing images that may be offensive or against Stickam’s terms of use.

WaR!!!! I will start a revolution to have my stickam settings back to what they should be. I wish to be able to close down other’s webcam feed when i am in a friend’s room, and when i have my room open to be able to put my friend’s cam into my big screen without killin my feed. It is utter nonsense these changes.
Change it back. this is not a request. this is a declaration of WAR!!!

Dear Stickam Staff:
Thank you for trying to keep this service fresh and interesting for
your users. I appreciate the effort that goes into this site. However, I
am not very impressed with this latest update.
Let me start by saying there are a couple new features I like. For
instance, the room host being able to close other’s camera slots without
needing to kick them. Also that when a person chooses a cam slot it is
apparently the same for all users of the stream.
However, not being able to put whomever I want in the big screen and us
seeing what the host is bigscreening is not an improvement. Not being
able to close another user’s cam slot to my own viewing without
putting them on ignore is also not an improvement.
I do not mean to complain, but I would prefer to not have the new
benefits and return to the previous service.

PLUS FUCK THE LAG! you guys need to say america is a democracy! we sould have the right to be able to decide when we leave a room not a mods or owner who just wants to kick some one cause they dont like the way they look or there screen name!plus its bullshit when my wife can stay in a room and i get automaticly kicked by the owner when hes trying to put the moves on her! i was there in the back ground dumb ass! she said that its not right to allow these lude acts on a owners part!by the way if anyone knows how to bypass getting kicked off let me know please! i want a talk with that asshole! how would you guys like it if some one kicked you out of a bar when you did nothing or even steped inside yet? put it the fu-k back please!
